Charged with driving lorry No. 3873 without the permission of the owner, Leung Sal-lo, at 2 a. to- day, and with driving the rehicle without a valid licence at Conurught Road West near Hill Road, Cheung Ching, 10, cor cleaner, failed to ap- pear before Mr. S. F. Balfour and had big ball of $35 estreated.
It appears that Cheung was scen driving the lorry which was landed with vegetables, and was called upon to stop by an indian policeman, but did not do so until the polleeman had jumped on board the vehicle and stopped it. It was then found thot Cheung had no driving licence.
