Prajadhipok, Prince of Sukhodaya, the former King of Siam, is to make his home in a sixteenth-century black and white, half-timbered house in Biddenden.

The house-Vane Court, Biddenden, four miles from Tenter- den-is situated in what is reputed to be the prettiest part of the county.

Vane Court, with its five acres of gardens, was recently on offer for sale at £4,900.

The village of Biddenden itself was fill recently famous for the celebration every Easter Sunday of the ritual of giving "Biddenden Muids" loaves und pieces of cheese to the the parish.
