The crow of the steamer Tin Sang
upon which a piratical attempt in the
West River was thwarted on July 23, have received threatening letters from the pirates demunding $3,000 compensation for the death of two of their number.
This fact was revealed by Captain W. J. Cullom, of the Tin Sang, this morning,
