The evidence of the Shanghai agent for the Wckmers Company was com- meuced this morning when the heuring of the £10,000 opium con- fisention claim was continued before Mr. Justier C. G. Aluster, acting
Chief Justice.
The claim is by the Bank of Tal- wan, Ltd., and L. S. M. R. Kazerooni & Sons, merchants of Bushire, Persła for £10,000 for loss of a cargo of aplum which ፂሩ። seized by the Chinese Government at Shanghai in November, 1930. The defendants are Blekiners Rhederal A.G., pwners of the s.x. Claus Rickmers whose agents are accused of negligence in fulling to conform to Customs Regulations, brench of which led to the co- thecation..
