Sir--I beg to refer to the com- ments on the film, "China Seas," In the latter part of the leading article in your issue of July 27.

The fact is that "China Seas" was banned altogether by the Censor concerned. Later, the owners of the Alm, of their own volition, "cut the film, and raade_representations for re-censorship. The film, as cut by the owners, was passed. No "cut" or emasculation was directed by the Censors.
