HAVE MONEY TO SPEND
Geneva, Apr. 10.
EUROPE'S DICTATORS HAVE BIG IN-
COMES, BUT THEY NEVER HAVE ANY POCKET MONEY. THE DICTATOR WHOSE TERRITORY IS THE LARGEST_ M. JOSEPH STALIN, HEAD OF THE COM- MUNIST PARTY IN THE SOVIET UNION— HAS THE SMALLEST SALARY, EQUAL. ONLY TO £600.
These surprising facts are
revealed by a survey which has just been completed in Geneva,
Because M. Stalin's salary is so little and because Herr Hitler refuses to accept any salary, the average- salary of the "Big Three" (the other is Mussolini) is less than £50 a month.
But lack of pocket money does not worry a Dictato He never needs to spend any. Almost everything hế needs is provided for.
Several of them, nolably Hitler und Mussollal, have Iarge private Incomes—all of then have large secret State funds under their own control. They need tell no one what they do with these funds.
DUCE IS RICHEST

Prayer Dominion Citizens' Designation
"BRITISH SUBJECT MAY BE ABOLISHED
Johannesburg, April 21. There is a strong impression in Parliamentary circles in Cape Town that, after the forth- coming Imperial Conference, the designation "British subject," as the description connoting all members of the British Com- monwealth, may be abolished and replaced by a more general term..
Although the Union Government
has no intention of interfering with the position enjoyed by nationals of the Dominions, the view is held in some quarters that the term "British subject" does not correctly define the status as understood to-day,
It has been suggested that a more general term, such as "Subject of the King," would be more in accordance with the present constitutional position and would raise no mis- understanding on such questions as the divisibility of the Crown.
It is clear, however, that any such decision could only be reuched as the result of general agreement and, there no reason to belleve that the Union will force the issue.
QUEEN'S CROWN. The
Queen Crown which Elizabeth will wear, at the Coronation, is the first crown which is mounted in platinum throughout. It is of conventional design, inspired by the Queen herself, and includes the historic Koh-I-Noor Diamond, which was myunted in Queen Mary's Crown at the Coronation in 1011.
Stay-in Girls Threaten Strip-Strike
T
New York, Apr. 15.
THE 44 "stay-in" girl strikers at the Woolworth store on Fourteenth-street, who were forcibly evicted yester- day, to-day re-entered the store, posing as customers.
This second "occupation" was, however, of brief dura tion, and the girls were quickly bundled out once more and were later charged with "unlawful Intrusion and disorderly conduct.".
This en-
"Undress, girls, then they cannot take you. out." couragement to play Lady Godiva was addressed to the girls before their eviction yesterday.
The manager had just read this ultimatum: "The store is to be closed, and you have ten minutes to get your belongings and leave peacefully." One girl removed her skirt, others began unbuttoning their blouses, and several took off their shoes.
Then 200 policemen entered to clear the store, and lust modesty should be offended, blankets were
thrown over any girls not fully
clothed,
The girls put up a strenuous re- sistance.
Two days and nights spent un- comfortably in the store bad lessened the girls' resistance, and the police dragged or carried all of them out in 20 minutes.

SNOWBOUND CABIN
RECORD OF BROTHERS' TRAGIC FATE
Montreal, Apr.' 15.
A sodden dlary, found by lumber- men beside the frozen bodies of two brothers in an abandoned hunter's cabin in Northern Quebec, has told of their slow deaths from cold und starvation.
The brothers, Willam and Edgar Collin, aged 23 and 20 respectively. left their home last August on hunting expedition. They planned to leave for home on Jan. 11, but a blizzard held them up and they sought shelter in the old cabin.
The diary tells how William cut his leg while chopping wood and was unable, after the blizzard had abated, to walk through the deep snow. Edgar. remained with him without food or fuel.
“WEAKER EVERY DAY”
The last pages of the diary, written by. Edgar, are as follows:
"Jan. 20-Willle connot it him- self. We grow weaker every day ond, think only of death. Jesus, Joseph and Mory, pray for us.
"Jan 29-I do not think that; Willie will live through the night.
"Jan. 26-My very dear, parents, It is Edgar whose sad duty it is to tell you that the good Blessed Virgin came from heaven last night to take nway my dear brother Willie about 11 o'clock. Maybe in a few days the Blessed Virgin will como for me. Do not fear for us, dear, parents. We have gone through too much not to be saved."
