Slocks: Some sections of the list have developed a much improved tone and, despite the outstanding weakness of steel and a number of other individual stocks and groups like metals, there appears to be better resistance to selling. The near-by particularly dimeult to fore- trend is cast at this stage because of the un- usually large number of factors of uncertainty which enter into the current situation. However, chances seem to favour some further exten- sion of the raily and for a trading turn we would favour rails, oils and rubbers.
