Capt. Cunningham Grahame and other officers paid an ometal coll on H.E. the Governor of Macao, Dr. Tamagnini Barbosa. They wit the guests of the British Vice Consul for Macao, Mr. F. J. Gellion, and Mrs. Gellion for dinner to-morrow.

The Soccer eleven of the Tarantuln is expected to engage in friendly en- counters with the teams of the Argonauta and the Artillery Clubs during the stay of the gunboat in Macno.

A Cocktail party will take place on board to-morrow evening.

ANOTHER CASE

The other case to come before the Committee was one in which $6 per month had been granted some years ago, when it was revealed that the family, a mother and four children, had no income whatever.
