The General Committee feels that residents whose goods may have been stolen and subsequently pawned by the thief should, in all such cases, avail themselves of the provisions of the - Pawnbrokers Ordinance which entitle them to make application to the magistrate for the return of such goods without payment to the pawn- broker.
