R. Vilas Osatanada, Siamese Trade Commis- sioner, who was responsible for introducing loading Siamese tennis players to Hongkong a year ago, is planning to have a party of badminton players visit the Colony from Siam early in May, and hopes, with the co-operation of the Hongkong Badminton Association, to have them appear in public exhibitions of the game against local ex- ponents.

Mr. Vilas says thul the!

standard of badminton in Siam Colony Badminton is high-higher than that off

which indicates a real Championships

treat for Colony badminton en- thusiasts.

Only the assurance of the Badmin- tan Association to assist in arranging for exhibition matches is required to make the visit of the Slumeze o cer- tainty, and there is little doubt but that the Association will welcome such an opportunity.

Six players will make the trip, each one bebig recognised as a first class exponent of the game.
