Washington, March 12. POSTMASTER-General James A. Farley has announced
extension of trans-Pacific airmail service from Manila to China, thus assuring round the world air mail service at least during the summer.

Farley announced that two new airmail stamps of 20 and 50 cents denominations will be issued in connection with the now schedule. New and reduced postage rates will be installed for ex- isting service between California, Hawaii, Guam and the Philip- pines.
These new stamps, resembling present. 25 cent trans-Pacific air-mail stamps except in colour and the inscription, "November, 1935," was placed on sale at the Philatelic Agency in Washing- ton on Feb. 15. The new 20-cent stamp is green while the 50- cent denomination is carmine.
