VINEYARDS OF PORTUGAL.-60 per cent. of Portugal's seven million population get what is called a Ilving out of agriculture. The monthly wages of a Portuguese worker are far less than a week's pay for

agricultural work in Britain. However, the vineyards are very pretty to look at. Here is one.
