KOWLOON MATTERS PROBED
K.R.A.'s YEAR OF
USEFUL WORK
LEPROSY PROBLEM

The report states that 1030 saw the opening of Central British School, a project ad vocated by the K.R.A. many years age; a lengthy campaign, but one well worth while since it culminated in the provision of a building second to none in the East for the education of the rising generation. It will also be remembered for the commence- ment of
of the work of compiling a Guide Book to Kowloon and the New 3 Territories, an undertaking first mooted in 1932. It is hoped that the book will not only be of value to re- sidents and visitors, but will also tend to promote interest in the districts or area covered, to the general bene- fit of the Colony; it might further the work of the help to emphasize Kowloon Residents Association.
The year closed with the General Committee considering several im- portant issues, including the problem of Leprosy in the Colony generally, and the necessity for improved Street Lighting,
