Cut the rounds of meat from some chops and use the bones and trimmings for stewing. Put the meat in a greased fireproof diah, add a teapoonful of chopped Onion and a cup of stewed mush rooms or tomatoes. Cover with either buttered crumbs or cooked rice, surinkle with and bake, Wash thepricots well. Soak overnight and next day put in fireproof dish with

the water in which they were soaled, sugar to taste, the juice of a lemon, and about 2 oz. of blanched, helved almonds. Cover and cook slowly until tender.
