*Cheese Pudding
over
Ingredients: 4 oz. grated cheese, two eggs, salt and pepper, ane pint milk, one teaspoonful made mustard, pinch of bicarbonate of soda.
Method: Warm milk. Pour
beaten
Add C908. cheese, bicarbonate of sođu, pepper, salt and mustard, Pour into greased piedish, Sprinkle little grated checBC on top. Stand in meat pan of. Taler and bake in slow oven for 40-50 minutes.
CRANBERRY
& CHESTNUT :
THIS is a change. Cranberries and
Itan chestnuts cumbined in a make a delicious sweet.
Bimmer b. cranberries in a little water with sugar to taste, then mix with an equal quantity of chestnut purée. also sweetened.
Line a finn ring or a sandwich in with lan pantry or a sweetened short crust. Place a piece of bultered paper on the bottom and Alt with uncooked rice or butter benna.
Cook in a hot oven, then remove the rice and paper, and if the bottom in not quite cooked, return to the oven for a few minutes. Allow to partly cool, then fill with the cranberry and chestnut mixture. Bol b. chopped apples with pint waters when tender strain and sweeten the juier and add jozinglans. Pour this over the cran- berry and chestnut mixture.
Leave to set, then decorate with desicented coconut and strips of angel len. Serve with whipped creain.
