HEROIN PILL TRAFFIC CHINESE REMANDED ON HEAVY BAIL
Three revenue cases were brought before Mr. W. Schofield at the Cen- tral Magistracy yesterday for formal romands.
A married woman, Kwan Lan. aged 28, was remanded for a week for possession of 2,000. heroin pills, found on her at the Mongkok Ferry wharf on Wednesday, Bail in the sum of $2,000 was ixed.
Another woman, Yu Hong, wan also remanded for a week for posses
of 500 heroin pills. She was rested in Hilller Street on Wednes- day. Bail was fixed. at $500.
A week's remund was also granted in a case against-Wong Fat, a 28- year-old unemployed man who was arrested In In house" "In “Bonham Strand East on Wednesday for possession of 300 heroin plis. Ball of 3800 was allowed.
