AUSTRALIA SQUARES TEST MATCH SCORE
M.C.C. Defeated By 148 Runs In Adelaide Match
ENGLAND'S BEST BATSMEN
DISAPPOINT SUPPORTERS
England and Australia are now all square in the Test match series, each having won twice. In the fourth game of the series, at Adelaide, Australia to-day secured victory by 148 runs.
The English team only added 95 to their overnight score, being all out shortly after lunch for 243. The dead- ly bowling of Fleetwood-Smith was a big factor in giving Australia the victory.
Haramond, on whom England's hopes largely relied, disappointed, failing to add to his overnight score, while Leyland only increased his total by 15. Ames was out for a "duck". Wyatt made an unavailing stand towards the end.
