ARMED ROBBERS' RAID ON CLUB

In answer to insistent knocks on the door of the Kwok Lo Social Club, 349 Nathan Road, second floor, a little after one o'clock this morning, a club opened it to three men. who pushed past him and entered the preralses.

Two of them were armed with knives, while the third had a pair of trousers, with holes cut för eye apertures, over his head.

Rounding up the occupants of the fat, who were Kwong Yuk-cheung, 24, the wife of the proprietor; her brother, and

Free Churches Playing Part In Coronation

Masao Nakamura, 31-year-old Japanese merchant, Was charged before Mr. J. A. Fraser at the Central Magistracy this morning. with a breach of the Registration Ordinance by failing to report his departure from the Colony on January 10. He pleaded guilty.

Detective-Sergeant A. F. Cochrane, prosecuting, said defendant left-the Colony on January 10 for Canton, and did not notify the police of his de parture. A few days ago, the police received a passengers' list from the Tung On Steamship Company, which showed that defendant arrived back here on January 14. He had been registered here, and had always pre- viously notified all his departures and "arrivals.

Nakamura pleaded that he had been very busy, and had overlooked the necessity to report.

A fine of $10 was inflicted.
