Two street coolles were commended by Mr. W. Schofield at the Central Magistracy this morning for their action in arresting a man who had youg snatched a hardbag from Chinese girl in Des Voeux Road. The thlet, Cheung Nain, aged 32, un- employed, was brought before; the Court on a charge of larceny of a handbag valued at $4.00, and con- taining three hundkerchiefs, a powder compact, lipstick, and 17 cents, from Miss Irene Leung, aged 14, student, of No. 20.
