BIG LOCAL ESTATES

MR. R. M. DYER LEAVES NEARLY HÁLF MILLION

The late Mr. Robert, Morton Dyer, former Chief Manage of the Hong- kong and Whampoa Dock Co., Ltd., who died at Beck Hd, Witherslack, County of Westmorland, on May 27 last, left local estate amounting to $440,000. An application by Mr. R. A. Waderon, solleitor, the lawful attorney, for scaling certified copy of confirmation (nominate) of the executors, has been granted.

The Rev. C. H. Dyer, Mr. J. F. Dyer, brothers of deccused, and Mr. C. L. Jones, of the Hongkong and Shanghat Bank, London, were ap- pointed executors of the estate,
