STRATHROY CLIPS ALMOST THREE SECONDS OFF OLD RECORD TIME
THE
KING'S WARDEN WINS MAIN EVENT
The feature of the last race meeting of the 1936 senson, held on Saturday, at Happy Valley, was the record created by Strathroy in the Queensland Autumn Champions, nearly three seconds being clipped off the previous best made by Able Amazon.
The Dynasty candidate, King's Warden, won the principal Tace of the day, the Hongkong Autumn Champlons. Much of the credit of its success was due to the magnificent way in which he was handled by Mr. Norman Deltz.
