First and second defendants denied the charges, and third defendant pleaded guilly. Mr. C. Y. Kwan was present for the first defendant, and Hevenue Officer A. W. Grimmitt was for the prosecution.

Mr. Grimmitt sald that at 7.30 6.m. on December 4, he and a party of Chinese Revenue Omeers raided No. 20 Po Leung Terrace. All three defendants were found on the pre- misca, In a cubicle where first de- fendant was found were two baskets containing 18,000 pills.
