The Appeals Board of the Hongkong Football Associa- tion, which met last night to consider the appeal of the Kowloon Chinese Football Club against the suspension of the first eleven from further parti- cipation this season in the Senior Shield, and the addi- tional suspension for stated periods from all local football, of Chan Hong-kong, Mak Sui- hon and Sui Tim-lin, did not issue a statement as to their decision Inst night, but TC- served judgment.

the early departure from the Colony of two staurich and valued supporters of H.K. Hockey Camp- Association Majors M, H. bell O.B.E. and C. S. Beutes, the former Vice-President of the Associa- Hon and late Chairman of the Hockey Umpires Board and late Army Hockey Secretary, the suggestion has been made that the offelals of the H.K.H.A. hold a cocktail party in honour of the gentlemen named to express in small monsure appreciation of their services to local Hockey.

The party is to take place in the Peninsula Hotel at 7 p.m. on Tuesday next. Expenses will have lo. be borne equally by those officials, play- ers and friends who attend and it is only on this understanding that parti- cipation is requested.

It is hoped that as many as possible will avail themselves of the oppor- lunity thus presented, of wishing them "Bon Voyage." Those who wish to be present please let the Hon. Secretary of the H.K.H.A, have their names not later than Monday next.
