E. C. Fincher and Mrs. Peacock to the semi- yesterday advanced tinal of the Colony open mixed dou bles tennis championship when, on the U.S.R.C. courts they defeated A. L. Sullivan and Mrs. W. E. Dowling in straight sets of 6-2, 0-1.

The winners held the upper hand from the start, and with Sullivan completely off his game, won the match with the greatest of ease,

was in delightful Mrs. Peacock form and drove powerfully from the buscline, while Fincher volleyed in his customary efficient manner.

The winners want to ve-love in the second set and were never seri- ously extended.
