During the first half, two goal: vere scored, the first being a new hot ten minutes from bully-off. I vas registered for the home team by Smaitear Angelo after the forward!
3d managed a'smurt breakaway.
The visitors maintained fine defen- sive work, however, and repulsea many an attack. Ten minutes before the interval they were rewarded when after fine combined move. ment, a well-directed shot by Lieut. Richardson saw them even the score.
The second half saw the local team to advantage when they scored no less than eight goals, In both individual stick work and combination the local. team appeared to be at the top of its forin. Pedrinho Angelo- at centre, was prominent, but all of the Macao. forwards WATC in good sporting form.
Fast movements and elever slick- work enabled the opposing forwards to penetrate the Destroyer detence und to constantly harass their goal,, Sub, Lieut. Baines in goal was com- pelled to meet the ball from every conceivable
and frequently stopped shots from point blank range. Lieut. Cochrane worked like a Trajon at right back for the visi- tors, but he was unable to cope with the stickwork of the Macao for- words.
mrcle
Lieut. Davis, the Destroyers centre- halt displayed some deft touches and gave much fine support to his for- wards. His opposite number Alex Alrosa expressed hockey in terms of amazing agility and himself ne- counted for two of the goals scored. He not only played a fine destruc- tive game, but distributed, the ball very well indeed to both wings.
The result was 0-1 in favour of Macao.
