In a friendly hockey game played at King's Pork yesterday, the Club defeated the 8th Destroyer Flotilla by

four goals to nil. The game was fast

and exciting and had it not been for 1. F. Shields,

the goalkeeper, and R. L. Walinge and E. V. Reed, the full-backs the Club would probably not have won 50 easily. These players put up a sound game and were largely instrumental in prevent- ing the sailors from scoring.
