Consignees are hereby informed that their goods with the exception of Opium, Treasure and Valuables pro being Innded and stored into the Godowns of the Hongkong Kowloon Wharf and Godown Co., Ltd., Kow- loon, whence delivery may be ob- Lained immediately after landing.
All claims must be sent in to me on or before 24th November, 1930, or they will not be recognized.
Damaged Packages will be examin- ed by the Company's Surveyor Messra-Goddard & Doughs in the presence of the Consignees at 10.00 Ram. on Friday, 20th November, 1930. Consignees must have a Revenue Officer in attendance when any dutt- able goods are examined by tho Company's Surveyors,

TRAGIC END OF FRENCH MINISTER
Paris, Nov, 17. The death has occurred of Roger Salengro, Minister of the Interior in M. Blum's Popular Front govern- ment.

It will be recalled that M. Salen-
by D... Kro was recently, vindicated Government Commission, presided over by General Gamelin, Chief of the French Army General Staff, of charges of cowardice during the Great War.
There was a violent scene in the Chamber of Deputien on November 13, when the Question of M. Salen- gro's military record was debated, about 50 delegates being involved in a scufe, and the sitting had to be suspended.
