Autumn was crowded out of the picture in the Rocky Mountain region when a sudden storm with wind and heavy snow blanketed the area. Here is a typical scene in Denver, when the heavy snow. fall broke limbs off trees and camouflaged many automobiles that had been parked at the curb overnight. Many had to dig their cars out from under føllen branches.
