THE football association, meeting in London last month, discussed several matters of football importance. A report on the recent trip to Berlin for the Olympic Games was under review, and several suggestions were made for the improvement of future teams. Much of the advice is mere reiteration of the official hand-book, but one or two of the points raised are useful. It was decided by the International Selection Committee to give effect, as far as is practic- able, to the suggestion that one section of its members deal specifically with
