Navy Rebels Bombarded Into Surrender

Portuguese sloop Afonso de Albuquerque, shelled by ehore hatteries at Lisbon, heels over as she is beached near Belem Fort to prevent her sinking. Sections of the crews on sloop and the destroyer Dao kad mutinied; Imprisoned their officers. They planned to join Spanish Government forces at Malaga. Fire was opened from forts on either side of the Tagus. Six mutineers were killed, nine wounded, before

white flags were holsted.

Around Madrid and near Huesca on the rond to Saragossa are almost the only places in Spain where, there is a regular battle-front.
