VERDICT

An Ingest into this death of Pse Hing, 60, inmate of Victoria Gal was held at the Central Magistracy this morning. Mr. S. F. Balfour sat as the Coroner, and the jury com- prised Messrs. R. S. Harrison (fore- man. H. F. Jason and H. Craye.

Mr. Barrett. Chief Warder. stated that deceased entered the prison on May 4. 1036, but transfered to Taichikok Pricon on! July 11. He was re-transferred to Victoria Gaol on August 5 because of malaria, and was admitted to the got hospital for treatment to his weak heirt.

Dr. 1. Shaw, Medical Offerr of Victoria Gaul, said he first examined deceased on Bay Sand-found-that- his condition was very poor. On the! deceased's return from the Lalchikok Prison, he was once more cxamized and found in be suffering from heart disease. He was admitted to hospital; for treatment and dirst between the hours of 5.30 and 5.45 am. yester- day.
