PLEA made by the Pope last month for the establish- ment of a film censorship by Roman Catholic bishops in all countries brings nearer to Hongkong the forma- tion of a' world-wide "League of Decency" on the lines now existing in the United States,

Conversations have already taken place between leaders of the Roman Catholic Church and of the film industry and it is anticipated that an organisation for the classification of films according to moral standards will shortly be set up here.
