LINER'S SLIGHT

'MISHAP

PROPELLOR BLADE BROKEN OFF

The Italian liner, Victorio, met with a slight mishap on the journey from Singapore to Hongkong when the three-bladed port outer propeller struck a submerged object three

leaving quarters of an hour after Singapore. Engineers were apprised of the fact that something was wrong when they noticed a charige in the revolutions of the

propeller. Immediately on arrival in Hong- kong, the ship went into dry-dock and it was discovered that one blade had broken off close to the boss. The propeller was replaced on Saturday and no change was made in the ship's schedule.
