Sensation was caused in Southampton to-day when it was announced that nine of the twelve directors of the Southampton

Football Club had resigned.

It was offelally stated that they had voluntarily and unreservedly placed their resignations in the hands of the three principal guarantors of the club in order to faciliinte a 257 6.5 financlat reorganisation.
