Marseilles, June 26. As a result of the ship owners' refusal to sign the agreement rench- ed between the Seamen's Unions and the tiovernment yesterday, the ship- ping strike here will be continued.

Marseille, June 25. The continuance of the Marseilles strike was announced dramatically at a meeting of 3,000 semen, carrying

The Scere. tary-General of the Union, just buck from Paris where he had been in negotiation with the Government, said the seamen's demands had been grant- ed, but work would not be resumed un- til the shipowners signed the con tracts providing that there would be no vicimisation of strikers.
The Union demanding that men paid off from vessels during the strike be re-employed, that they be paid during tho strike and that bonuses be given for overtime.
