The Whitsun Carnival, which is a two days' affair, will be the last meeting of the first half of the Hongkong Jockey Club's fixtures, but racing will be resumed after the recess in September. The first saddling bell will be rung to-morrow at 1.30 p.m., but on Whit-Monday the bell will be chimed at noon and the third event, Bondi Handicap for "A" class Australian Ponies, will be run at 2:30 pm. There are nine races on the first day and ten on Monday.
