Here are Freddie Bartholomew, child' film actor, and his aunt, Miss Millicent Bartholomew, who sticcessfully opponed a court move by Mrs. Lillian Mae Bartholomew to regain custody of her son. The mother, in New York, charged the aunt wrongfully named herself Freddie's guardian.

The reputed "haunted house" leased by the famed American aviator, Col. Churies A. Lindbergh, at Weald, in Kent, is shown vbove. The estate, which includes an 18-room house and four ancient cot- Inges, is known as the Long Barn. Supponed birthplace of William Caxton, the man who introduced the printing press to England, the Long Barn is said by country folk in the vicinity to be haunted by Caxton's ghost.
