Some 500 Catholic pilgrims from Shanghai, recently made the annual trek to Zose in the Shanghai Hille, where an inaugural Mass was observed in the newly completed Church on the summit headed by the Rev. Father J. M. Lennon, of the Church of the Sacred Heart (shown at left) entrained The party, from Shanghal at 6.35 a.m. and arrived at Sunkiang about an hour later. The party proceeded to the foot of the hills by sampan and after reaching the half-way station marched the rest of the way chanting the Rosary. Returning visits were made to various shrines located in the hills. At right are shown some of the pilgrima reaching the summits

Five Japanese and three Chinese workmen were badly injured when two hundred yards of structure which was to be the exhibition building of the Japanese Industrial Fair scheduled to be opened in Hong kew yesterday collapsed as if blown down by storm one morning last week. The reason for the total collapse could not be ascertained at all. Above photos show the scene of the collapse with workmen starting work on clearing the debris.
