ancient tomb ever found in Egypt were displayed in the Cairo Museum of Antiquities to-day.

They include curious Bat discs of wood, ivory, bronze and stone, the use of which are un- known to archaeologists.

One of them is carved with a spirited hunting scene, showing hounds and gazelles, and re- sembling the best workmanship of the ancient Greeks.

The tomb where the dis- coveries were made lies north of the famous necropolis at Sakkara, 10 miles from Cairo.
