It is understood that Signor Benito Mussolini, the Italian Dictator, has decided to defy Great Britain's and the League of Nations' efforts to dietate Italo-Ethiopian Information from all quarters indicated peace terms. that Il Duce would insist upon. pursuing a relentless drive into the heart of Ethiopia unless he obtained terms tantamount to complete capitulation and permanent Italian domination of the state.
It is intimated that Signor Mussolini will even refuse to discuss peace terms, while there is still the possibility of Britain asking for severer sanctions against Italy unless Rome shows its readiness to cease hostilities.

Cheron was Finance, Ministor from Nov., 1028, to Nov., 1029 under Polncare, Briand and Tardieu. The Tardieu Government fell as the result of Cheron's proposals regarding veterans' pensions and reduction of taxes. Ho became Minister of Justice in Nov., 1930 under Tardlou and retained the post in the
