Objections To "Romeo And Juliet !" New York, Mar. 24.

Miss Marlene Dietrich, one of the world's most popular stars, is taking a rest during the production of "I loved. a Soldier." Some people say that the film will be taken off “ice" in a week; others declare that it may go into permanent cold storage, with a loss to Paramount of £160,000.

"Romeo and Juliet" should find n place in the Hollywood 'refrigera- tor. Nevertheless, the producers are going warfly with the Alm version.

They find that scenes harm less in the play look different on the screen, especially when close-ups are used.
