THE Frock Coat is dead-killed by the King's decreo, banished from the backs of Household officials.

The few people who still own frock conts will, I am sure, be glad. A frock coat was not just a garment-as Oxford bags are garments. It was a régalia. It demanded a private income to maintain it.
