Elstree, movie centre of England, was wiped out by fire recently with losses ninounting £250,000. British International and British and Dominions Film Corporations were the largest losers. More than 2,000 will suffer apex of employment as a result of the fire which spread over more than 12 acres of buildings. The above picture shows the British International Studies at Elstree, most of which was destroyed by fire which raged for more than three hours. There were no casualties.
