Mrs. Bruno Hauptmann, wife of the man who is under sentence of death for the murder and kidnapping of the baby son of Colonel and Mrs. Charles Lindbergh, to-day conferred with Mr. Samuel Leibowitz, the famous criminal lawyer, whose record of 112 acquittals in 116 murder cases is probably the most remarkable in the history of low.

After their talk, Mr. Leibowitz, gruff-voiced and un- communicative, said briefly:
