Here are two possible locations of one terminal of the new transatlantis air service agreed upon by Canada, Uni- ted States, Britain and Ireland in conferenco ut Washing- ton. TOP, a view of Irishowen Head at the mouth of Lough Foyle, about 23 miles from Londonderry, BELOW, Culmore Point, situated on Lough Foyle, five miles from Londonderry.

A four-a-week transatlantic air service will be inaugurated next year, according to plans now in process in formulation in Ottawa, Washington and Londen, by British air services. It is planned to use a "carrier-plane" system by which a lightly-loaded" flying boat will carry a long range seaplane heavily laden with fuel. The light boat will carry the other to a great height so that it may get a good start with its heavy load of mail, passengers and fuel.
