At the moment of writing it seems very doubtful if there will be any cricket over the week end, and I am RWATC int the chances are very largely against the Club-Services mutch coming off at all. events. 1 understand the matter will be governed very largely by the pro- cedure adopted at home. In the event of the match being played I learn that the probable side, seeing that Garthwaite and J. P. Williams are on the Injured at, will be M. R. Branwell, (captain), K. 1. Harper, R. A. H. Bariley, G. Prowse, R. A. Hunting and Tel. Tufnell from the Navy and from the Army J. R. Jolinson, G. Dawson, D. Perssc, Pritchard, and Corp. Ballard.

As regards the League etc. There are no gamga in the Senior.Division, and the only non-League game ar ranged so far as I know is one between the I.R.C. and K.C.C. which will be started at 2 p.m. on Friday on the I.R.C. ground and continued at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the K.C.C. ground somewhat unorthodox but vory sensible arrangement! On Fri- day K.C.C. II are down to play Navy Ir at 11a.m. on the K.C:C.

On Saturday in the Junior Division I.R.C. play the Club, University the R.A.S.C. and Civil Service the. Police,. the first mentioned team being at home in each case. I expect a draw or a win for the home side in the first game, and a win for the Visl tors In the second and third. But I cannot of course be sure that the games will be played.

P.S. Since writing the above arti- cle I have heard definitely that the H.K.C.C.-United Services malch been cancelled. I am mitch obliged to my informant.
