AUTHOR OF REPERTORY THEATRE PRODUCTIONS

London, Jan. 11.

Mr. Allan Monkhouse, the critic, novelist and dramatist, who was closely associated with the repertory theatre movement in its early days in Manchester. Birmingham and Liverpool, died yesterday at his Cho- shire home, aged 77,-British Wireless. Theatrical Critic

Allan Noble Monkhouse, was born st Barnard Castle, Durhaut, in May, 1868, and educated at private schools.
