CLUB'S BIG GAME
SHIELD DESTINATION MAY BE AFFECTED
ARMY WITHOUT BONAVIA WILL HAVE HARD TASK AT CRAIGENGOWER
: (By R. Abbit)
ANNUAL RACE MEETING PROGRAMME
Eefore continuing my notes on last Saturday's games I purpose briefly to run through the programme, for to-morrow. There are two League games down for decision in the senior division. The one that affects the destination of the Shield most is that between the HK.C.C., who are at home, and the K.C.C. Unless there is a change of the weather the pitch should be in good order and a draw may well be the result.
I do not think the Club are likely length and did excellently with 5 for to be beaten, as they really are bat- 33. At one time, with Colledge and ting all through. I have not yet seen Sayer-doing well it looked us, if the the teams but if Kowloon have their C.S. would win. With two wickets tá best side out there should be sonte go only a dozen or so' wern wanted: Then when the ninth wicket fell, the yery interesting cricket.

This Intter game non-league.
The game between K.C.C. and I.R.C.
in the senior division was not unlike that in the Junior division. The two K.C.C. teams made respectively 145 and 155, while the Indiana had 130 for 8 and 130 for seven. The chances of the second eleven were better, The only first hand information have is that in the senior game the I.B.C. batsman found runs very hard to get, and would not score fast en- ough to force a win,

only
Of the three junior league games, I see that in the case of Recreio and Navy II the home side won, while the Police survived their journey to Pok- fulam and won, though they made 78. According to a report their last four wickets feil, nt the NG total, three of them to C. Teoh, Abra ham had 4 for 18. The Varsity collapsed for 60. Baker doing the dange with 7 for 21 in 15.1 overs-- good bowling!
At Kowloon the second elevens of K.C.C, and H.K.C.C. do baitle in the league. The home alde have a slight ly better record in points, but it is never safe to bet against the Club second eleven. It should bè n hard- fought contest. The Civil Service are at-home to the IL.A.5.C. and here
The Club had to postpone their again the game is very open but the fixture with the R.A.S.C. who werd CB. have improved in their second doing something about a trooper. So string also. of the non-league games they took on a Navy side that was Craigongower should beat Recreio and
