Their heavy transport, their artillery, tanks and even aeroplanes may be useless to them in the rainy season.

A spokesman of the Ethiopian Government told the United Press to-day that any mass advance of Mulu Ghetta's main forces was unlikely and that the rumours abroad that Mulu Ghetta's men were locked in a fierce battle with the Italians were merely distortions.

A message from the Emperor Selassie on Saturday, an- nouncing the Ethiopian victory at Addiabi and the capture of that town, cald that Mulu Ghetta's army was remaining be- tween Quoram and Ambaslagi.
