There is to be an addition to the R.A.F. expansion pro- gramme already announced of between 200 and 250 more · [aircraft of the first line.

Under the scheme announced in May it was planned to expand the R.A.F. to a total of 1,940 aircraft.

Should the number of additional aircraft to be con- structed.be 250, the total would be 2,190, allocated as. follows:
